Got mine today from the uk listing, delivered in a week ast a cost of 12 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...ht_4239wt_1167

The Pegs are nearly twice as wide as the stock pegs and stick out slightly further as the peg grips start a big further out than stock (see attached pic)

Fitting is pretty straightforward even for a mechanicaly inept person such as myself:
Straighten and then remove retaining pin holding the bolt.
Remove the bolt, then pull off the peg/spring.

Put the spring in the new peg.
Refit the large bolt to hold in the new peg and the spring (this is the hard bit trying to keep them aligned to make it easy)
Refit the retaining clip.
For tools all I used was a pair of long nose pliers.

I've not had a chance to ride with them on properly yet but they do seem to very much improve comfort and stability on the pegs.

Quality seems reasonable, probably nothing more than cast iron/steel and a bit heavier than stock but a bargin overall for the price.

Anyone know yet if they fit the XTX ?

Will have a set if they do. I recall loving my KTM 950SMR pegs and these look very very much the same.

Foot Pegs

I agree that the OEM pegs on the Tenere leave a lot to be desired, and after having my foot slip off during a maneuver in heavy traffic in the rain (and almost loosing control - an "underpants moment") I started to look for a bolt on alternative. I came upon Pivot Pegz http://www.pivotpegz.net/. At 150 euro a pair they are nowhere near the price of the bargain mentioned below, but they are TUV approved and Excellent quality. The first ride was a little weird at first, but after a few rides in slippery and tight conditions the difference is amazing. Vibration is about the same as the OEM pegs but the difference in feel and control is impressive. If you can just ignore the price ........ and don't tell the wife. :)

I would not be surprised if the KTM pegs also fit. Will have a look in my garage.

Thanx for the tip anyway, bought them also and they are perfect value for money.

Funny that, my missus thinks that everything I buy for my bike is no more than 20.......cheapest bike I've ever owned according to her.........wonder where she gets that idea from?:icon_rabbit:
