I had that little problem, other than that they are great value for money.

In case anyone's interested in more suitable footpegs, I've just received these through the post:

http://cgi.ebay.fr/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260562998402&ssPageNam e=ADME:L:OU:FR:1123

In case this link no longer works they are listed as 90-05 YZ80 125 250 500 WR 200 500 and the seller is called dormousesleep. The pegs cost me 20.99 Aussie dollars (which works out at 14.30 Euros here in France) including postage. Can't be bad! They were sent from China. I had second thoughts about the 'Made In China' tag but at this price I thought I'd at least try them out. They went on very easily and are a good fit. I've no idea how well they handle crashing (yet...) but they're certainly better for standing on than the standard pegs.

Cheers,

Rich

wow they are even cheaper now these must be the cheapest mod you can make to a Tenere (bar a bag over the reg unit) :SpinHappy_15XK8L:that really improves the bike for very little outlay. I paid about 20 from the states at the time but these are the same ones I may even treat my TTR to a pair for that price.

Why would i send it back when i could fit it! :)

Thanks very much for the offer Dazz - but I'll pull one of the pegs off at the weekend and do some measuring / photo type stuff and see if it seems a reasonable bet if you're up for it!

It would probably cost a couple of quid to send it back, so you may has well take a gamble and order the Ebay ones if they don't fit I am sure someone on here with a tenere will buy them from you :downtown:

Because they are my originals...... safe to assume if the OE pegs fit, then the new ones will......

Actually, I think there is an X in the dealers, I see if I can find some time today and have a look

Fitted mine a couple of days ago. Peachy fit considering the price. Spring holes were fine also. Five minutes and a multi tool and all was sorted. Was a bit sceptical as to the increased feeling/comfort they would provide but it was brill. Was off for a couple of hours on some horribly slippery green lanes and then some very steep playing on some banks and they were great. Much much better foot stability.

Thanks for the heads up and all the above coments that made me buy them. and all for just 12 quid posted and here in three days!

Cheers
