I like the rear rack plate, and the tool box/bash plate looks nicely done too?

About time, they were supposed to have kit available mid year,

I'll have to check that GPS mount! I hope they've not been lifting my design..:love-smiley-085:

So, anyone want to buy some Yamaha Panniers ?

I visited the Intermot today and I was pleasantly surprised about the quantity of parts developed by Touratech for our Tenere: ten pages of goodies! I took some pics, so y'all can see for yourself. Some are already available, some only as of january 2009. They look solid and well-made, prices differ from normal to expensive(we know that!). Another brand, SW-Motech, also had a prepared Tenere on their stand, as did Hepco&Becker. It's going well! Greetz, Hans.

I'm just looking over this stuff, again, and I'm wondering why Yamaha didn't do some of the things that Touratech have covered, the wide side stand, better footpegs, wider brake levers etc. It would only have added a few extra 's to the price, even at 100 it would still have been a good buy and well below all the other bikes in the class.

I do wonder sometimes, especially as they put some extra protection around the rear brake master cylinder and the crankcase (by the brake).

Oh well, I think my bike may grow some extra bits over the winter........

Glad they have done the bashplate with the tool box now we just need someone to bring out all the mods and make them more affordable.
