Fit a DNA stage 2 air filter if you are looking for more HP & Torque. |

But apart from that my dynorun looks okey? Im a bit suprised that the hp curve is almost linear. Also that the torque curve makes a small dip just before 3000 and then goes up and then down abit as the RPM increases. |

Looks good to me, the A/F ratio is the main thing I look at. I now have my KTM at 124 rear wheel HP & will be back on the dyno on Wednesday with my new air box mods & am hoping for 130 rear wheel HP with around 80 ft/lbs of torque. |
Hello. I was on the dyno th other day making a custom fuel map for my XT 660 R 04 with 16.000km.
My set up is Metal Mule exhaust, BMC filter, snorkel removed, PCIII and no AIS. Result: 50,1hp, 65,4Nm torque and 45,8hp at the wheel. http://fotos.miarroba.es/fo/65f2/264...2C4F950941.jpg |
Thanks for sharing, I was on the Dyno myself today.

Hi Kev. I saw that Snowman with almost the same set up as mine has 5hp less than my XT. Do you know why?
Snowman do you have 45hp at the wheel or at the clutch? |
Every Dyno reads slightly different so you can never compare peak HP & Torque readings, a true comparison is to test both the bikes on the same Dyno one after each other.
I never really look at the over all HP I look at the gains between the before & after runs, this is the true gain. |
I didnt do a before run, so... I dont know the gains but Im happy with my 50hp.
But Im not happy enough because the bike makes explosions with even fire in the exhaust when I close the thortle, people gets scary and cops get angry. We fixed a bit this problem on the dyno ride but... I know that the XT 04 has some kind of dual spark ECU, but, is there any way to fix this?? Thanks! |
Here is my A/F ratio:
