Nothing better than laughing your head off over breakfast, a truly apt sum up of the weekend Hazza

As for " next year", this one aint over yet, we've done the rain, we more than likely will have the frost in Dent at the end of the year. Plus Selina is going to scout out some more trails in Derbyshire so prob a Wetton do is on the cards.

Apologies to all for me not making the full weekend, but I did enjoy the Friday trails, and I'm sure I gave Darren a shock when he "found me" on the second one!
I don't know what Steve D was doing in that tent, but I bet it wasn't pretty... some things are best left alone!

Big respect Darren for a great weekend, really well put together (a bit like the Ten) - unlike myself. Fantastic to finally meet up with you retrobates, was made to feel really welcome and have a rough idea of who's who now.
Thanks Stridey for mauling me and bike out of the hole !! Does practice make perfect or just pain ?
Trust all made home, looking forward to next meet, where ever it be.

Some things are best left alone........ I'm booked in three self help groups and some BUPA Therapy later in the week.

I've been convincing myself that it was my own fault for pitching opposite Steve, but then I remembered I WAS THERE FIRST!

The simple opperation of closing the door would have helped!

Thoroughly enjoyed - well organised, well attended, well wet both on the road/trails and in the Old Speckled Hen house! (the Merlot was palatable as well - washed the steak and guiness pie down a treat).

Everybody there deserves a special mention from GULGO's organisation skills through steveD's erudite expositions on anything under the sun (in-between getting bofs like me out of bother) to Selina for providing the glamour and a good helping of humour (not to mention the coffees I cadged) young Harry keeping us all on our toes with non-stop questions and stalwarts stumpydave and clowncrusty like genial bouncers looking after the rest of us. Aged memory forbids me from mentioning all the memorable impressions I have from this weekend - I am beginning to realise that memorable experiences are in the past and the best ones are still to come - HOW can it get better?

A few piccies in the gallery.

Forgot to say I did 652 miles from my front door and back again would have been 600 if me and KeithBlade could read a map and sat nav :rofl[1]: but hey Scotlands quite nice :rofl[1]:
Are we getting a "Lakes 10 Survivor" ?? I think we earned it lol

Darren - for his organising skills, hard work and dedication.
SteveD - for an enjoyable ride there and back and his usual plethora of equipment.
The Clown Crusty - for his very funny stories, many of which involve SteveD and unfinished cans of calor gas!!!
Simon - for not cooking kippers!
Selina and Onanist - for the laughs!
The Bear - for an interesting tour of the North of England and an impromptu Iron Butt certificate. I told him it was left not right at that junction!
I was,nt the only one to turn the wrong way though was I :smilies0225:
Motonacio - for an enjoyable conversation on Saturday night.
Hazza - for making me feel old but for reminding me that the youth of today will keep the spirit of biking alive for generations to come.
The weather - for keeping the power rangers at bay!
The pub - for their hospitality, great ale (and wine) and good wholesome grub.

Everybody who was there for adding to a wonderful weekend.

When's the next?:026:
