Yep. Mine too.

I have even put a little arrow on the hub, so I don't get it wrong when changing the tyre.

I've tried running TKC's the wrong way after the weird scalloping that happens. My experiment lasted about 15 minutes. The handling was awful, cornering was worse and I very nearly killed myself. I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I believe (but may be wrong) the arrow is only on one side of the tyre....

I looked for one when fitting my TKC front last week and couldn't see one, so I thought I'd check the other side and found the little ******....

I don't know about turning the wheel round but the scalloping effect is normally due to braking into corners. Stop braking - use gears and anticipation and you don't get the scalloping. Also makes you a bit faster and smoother. I consider I have failed if I need to break for a corner now.

Maybe so Austin, but i've just done 1700kms of Colls and Gorges ,tons of hairpins in 5 days perhaps more than some do in a year and yes i do push it a little hard !!!! but if i didn't brake i'd die

I've turned E-09 and Army fronts. It does even the wear out. There's no reason why TKC's would be any different. IIRC Tripletom of this parish has done the same with a TKC front, although he did have to sand the direction arrow off to get it through an MOT .

As for the wheel itself... I haven't had a stock front for a couple of years, but ISTR if you get it the wrong way round it puts the wheel a bit off-centre, too far for the caliper sliders to accommodate. ICBW.
