Flat battery - jump start
I've got a Honda Falcon 400 with a flat battery, can I hook it up to my X using jump leads to fire it up, as is done on cars?

I guess it would work Denny. Just mind that your XT must be running while trying to kick the start button on the other bike. I hope you understand what I am saying mate..

I've jump started one bike from another without any problems before. As J_maker says make sure your donor bike is running as you would for a car. Plus leave it hooked up and running for a few minutes before trying to start the poorly one.
Good luck. |

& be careful with the positive terminals, that you dont short circuit onto the frame!

Yea as above, get someone to hold the X on a bit of revs to get a better charge going and leave the leads on for say a minute before you try and start it. Also once youve go the flacon started leave the X to run for a couple of minutes just to charge the battery a bit more
