My Dutch dealer has confirmed the recall in accordance with the information posted on the internet. Grabbed an article from the German magazine Der Spiegel with frame numbers and everything, which was cross referenced with Yamaha Technical Services in the Netherlands.

Recall is in effect in the Netherlands as well thus.....

Yamaha Australia has recalled many models for the throttle position sensor but the xt660 is not on the list yet.

It seems that in Austria nobody knows anything about a Recall :102:


No Dealer had ever heard from a problem with Throttle -sensor :018:

Not sure where to post it but I 've been looking around for a while through this threads and can't find out what should be the new setting of the last replaced TPS. What is the correct position along with a snorkel out and a K&N filter?

hi folks, phoned the previos owner for the letter, no joy.
got onto yammy uk and they sent the recall letter to me which i took to my yammy dealer, they are going to ring me when the tps part comes in. hope it dont take to long. im hoping me xtx runs abit smoother when its replaced.
Do you no, when they replace the tps, will they tune her or is it job done.
