http://www.off-the-road.de/uploads/p...nkrucksack.jpg I found it annoying 'cos - it does get in the way when riding off-road and you want to move forward upon the tank - filling the tank is cumbersome: the base-plate does move around a bit such that the spare isn't exactly located at the right position: the tank lid won't open/stay opened. Besides that, you'll have to unzip the tankbag at least half way to get to the tank lid, but then it will dangle at the left side and it gets in the way when you want to fill her up (assuming you're standing left of the bike) - the map window isn't big enough to actually hold a decent map So I strapped it on the back of the bike and use it as a tail-bag! On the subject of tank bags, and frankly
very good luggage, I picked up a Kriega 'tank' harness at the NEC and fitted it to the Ten earlier this week. It allows you to fit any of their tailpacks (US-5, 10, 20) as a tank bag. The Ten's small tank will happily take the 10litre pack and it keeps it well out of the way of your groin. I've got a 5 litre pack fitted for everyday use and as a nice side-effect it helps disrupt the airflow through the tank ducts. Very much recommended.

www.advrider.com . They got lots of different bags. Greetz, Hans.

I really like this system, simple and versatile. Found a Swedish dealer and gonna order harness, hydro-3, a US-5 and a US-10. Maybe a US-20 too so I can say bye bye to the yamaha panniers. |
