Here some pics I took today, after the installation of the handguards&deflectors(they do a good job!). Greetz, Hans.
By the way, I ordered the Leovince slip-on exhaust system, delivery next week. |
I made this one for my travels :
Its a touratech plate, original for the 1150GS. http://i33.tinypic.com/opzf7.jpg http://i36.tinypic.com/o5s2ep.jpg http://i36.tinypic.com/v316cn.jpg http://i35.tinypic.com/28c0c1x.jpg http://i36.tinypic.com/8x7eyf.jpg |

Just a heads up about the handlebar: It's weak. Had to replace mine today since it bent from a minor impact. Get yourself a proper conical alu bar asap since it also helps minimizing the vibrations you get with the original bar.

I got the engine bars and left the plastic bashplate as it is. It looks quite well and it stong enough for mild offroading, I think.

More stuff from OTR: PC, DNA High Flow Airfilters, racing camshafts, racing pistons etc. Check it out:

The pannier rack looks solid(and heavy?)! The panniers are SW-Motech I believe? Can H&B panniers be fitted on these racks? My H&B pannier rack will arrive next month, I'll post some pics as soon as I got them. Greetz, Hans.

They weigh not that much, although they're rocksolid. In the kit new(smaller) endweights were included, to install instead of the original endweights. There's slighlty more vibe in the handlebar, but nothing to worry about. I don't know if it will fit on aftermarket bars, but if it has the same diameter I think they'll fit. Greetz, Hans.
