what was the deck height of the OEM and JE piston?

I gave you the deck height for the STD 10:1 660 piston & 660 cylinder the other day, but can't seem to find where I wrote down the height for the JE 11:1 piston & Raptor cylinder, I will keep looking as it is bugging me now, I hate loosing info.

When fitting a +5mm Hot Rod stroker on a Raptor 700 standard piston how much does it lift the piston in the sleeve by? Or by how many compression points?

How much do you guys sell the +5mm Hot Rod cranks for? As my options seem to be looking at this Raptor 700 +5mm crank, Raptor rotor & Raptor magneto, as a straight bolt in option.

i didnt get the deck height info or maybe i didnt see it..

the HR +5 crank retains oem compression height as the rod is 2.5 mm shorten then stock they go for around $350 usd
compression is about.5 gain

Thanks for the prices.

The standard XT660 10:1 piston & standard 660 cylinder has a deck height of approx 1.7mm.

What approx HP & torque gain does a 5mm stroker crank produce on a Raptor on it's own? I have been trying to find a dyno run on the net, no luck so far, with the results of just adding a stroker crank.

Goodness.....

Ok ok well I have bin away for a bit after I sold my latest XT660X and bought a SuperTen 1200. So call me out of date, sure. But I just bought a Raptor 700, so am reading up about this motor, and so have bin reading this thread with all of the mods and the following dumb questions come to mind:

(1) Upon superficial observation the Raptor engine SEEMS very very similar to the good ol XT660. Sure I now have reverse gear, but otherwise.....

(2) I seem to now have LOADS more torque and I think less horses, which is perfect for off road of course.

(3) So but er if you wanna Raptor 700 motor in yer bike why not transplant the engine (having removed reverse I guess).

Are the engines sooooooo different then???

Thanks Simon
