The heavy wedge kit is a mod I have wanted to do..
But never get around to it... In fact the Rekluse maybe coming out when I get the ADV/Enduro sidecar unit finished... Might just be asking to much of the Rekluse.... |
Amazing thanks for the wonderful information.....

Hey Marques, Where did you get your heavy wedges from? Thanks Robo |
Ordered them through a rekluse distributor. But they weren't cheap.
|
Which distributor and which country?
Can't get them in Oz as yet. Thanks |
Strange I'm in Japan but when I spoke to the guy at rekluse he told me you could get them at a rekluse distributor. At that time he didn't know where I was.
|
So which distributor did you get yours from so I can get them to?
Thanks Robo |

is not to sell Rekluse clutchs/parts off shore.. A way to protect the dealer network from the internet... Unless you are in a country with no distributer then you have to contact Rekluse in the US.... So you will need someone to buy for you and then ship it to your country.... I could see if White power sports here in NZ has them then ship them to yer..... Pete |
Please, that would be awesome Pete.
Also...you can't just tell us you're building an outfit for the XT without showing us some progress shots. That's like cracking a beer in front of an Aussie and saying it's your last one.... Robo |
Make sure you look on the rekluse website to find a genuine authorised dealer in your country. Or contact rekluse like I did. They weren't to happy that I purchased mine from ebay but nonetheless they were helpful and I got the part I wanted.
The heavy weight wedge kit was the decisive part that made the rekluse work perfectly. However, please note I also changed the stock clutch plates and springs to ebc heavy weight sets.the gearing is 14 front and 48 rear. Oil was changed to 100% mineral. |
