And here my relatively short list:

DT50M
XT250 x2 ( one write off after 48k km, one exchanged after 32k km)
XT500 (disappointing really, thought it would go off road)
XT550 (best aircooled xt engine, runs rings around the later 600s)
XT600 Tenere (still got it and not going anywhere else! A true legend. Not fast but when you talk to her she answers back sweetly!)
XT660R ( will be my runaround for a while yet)

Can anyone spot the trend here?

Rob

Just so you are not last.

Have you went to a 2stroke for 2009?

Do you compete or green lane?

I havnt had many bikes but then I've had less cars:

Kawasaki KE100 - great little bike - naff 6v electrics
CCM 604 e - Beast of a bike - fun when it worked
Yamaha TT250R - Its been around the world - good simple fun
BMW R850RT - WHITE - Great for lane 3 100mph plus - crap for green lanes
and Finally
Yamaha XT660Z - Stealth Black - great all rounder and hopefully with some more mods will take the place of the TT250R off road as well.

Damn, it's getting really hard to have the last one these days...
Went to a 2-stroke partly 'cos I fancied a change and partly because people rate them better for enduros, which what I use it for mainly. I've actually never been green-laning because I don't fancy running into dog-walkers and horses.... might give it a go though, as it beats paying to ride somewhere - credit crunch and all that.
