Hi All,
I have now made some lollypop baffles and the bike sounds a lot deeper, the popping back is not so bad either. Here are a few photos of the bike with my take on rear end mod with shortened exhausts and LED light.

Hi, I'm trying to wire in a universal light that looks pretty much the same as yours Croxalla and it has yellow, blue and green wires. It says the wires are; yellow +, green - and blue brake + . Could you tell me which wire goes to which when wiring to the tail light connector under the seat? I can't find any info on this subject anywhere and i don't want to go blowing fuses trying to match them up. Any help would be great, thanks.

Just test supply with a test light to sort which is which.

Hi Steve46,
I used a multimeter to find the power supply with the ignition on,this is the tail light. Then I held the brake lever on to find the other live for the brake light. The other wire left is the earth wire. I can not tell you the colours as someone had put different coloured wires in at some time before I owned the bike. I took two wires from the battery and connected them to the LED light to test where I needed to connect the bike wires to.
I hope this helps.

Thanks for the help, i'll find a multimeter then. Think i've got one somewhere. Also, i just put some new indicators on today, they're bulb type, and they now flash too quickly when i put either indicators on. Yet, when i put the hazard lights on, they flash at the 'normal' rate. Any ideas as to why this is? :eusa_think:

Check the wattage of the new bulbs,if it is lower than what was there they will flash faster.

Ok, thanks for the help, i'll have a look this morning. Also going to be trying different combinations of wire connections to try and sort my new LED tail light out. Just hope i don't end up blowing fuses lol. :retard:

Croxalla, just checked the wattage of the indicator bulbs and they're the same. Checked the eBay listing though and it does state they may need a new relay. How easy are they to install and how would i go about doing that?

Nice variation on a tail tidy!

Just a thought; when we get a noisier exhaust, sure the bike goes better cos it can breathe better AND you remove some weight. I for instance fitted Leo Vince and I think that the saving was about 3kg. But my question is, how much of the "improved" performance is in our head cos it sounds better, and how much is real?????? And I agree that louder is safer, same here in Roma, but Leo Vince gives me nice throaty sound without tooooo much noise, so I really rate them. Ciao xxx
