Wrong country but where do you find 50mm X 500mm perforated stainless tube?

Uncorking

Hi All.

I just uncorked my exhaust, fitted the perforated tube, baffle packing and shortened the length of the exhausts by 110mm. I have sprayed them satin black with engine paint.
The reason that I shortened them was that I modified the back end to fit LED stop and tail lights and I shortened the existing numberplate bracket keeping the standard indicators and legal numberplate.
The bike looks a lot better now. I also blocked the AIS pipe at the same time.
I started her up and what a great deep throbbing sound on the pipes, I think that my neighbours might want to move now LOL. I might make some decibel killers and keep them under my seat in case I get stopped by the police.

The bike feels a bit nippier now and rides a lot smoother.

My next job is to wrap the panels with carbon fibre vinyl wrap, but I do not know if it will stay on polypropelene panels anyond done it ???

Ride Safe
Croxalla.

Popping Back

Hi All,
I did the uncorking as in my earlier thread, the bike is running really well now but I have really bad backfiring when I shut the throttle. I made some DB killers that made the bike sound a bit deeper but still backfiring. I put my CO up from 2 to 26 (with Kev mod). the sparkplug is very light in colour (lean).
Is there anything else that I can do without buying a power commander. AIS is blocked.
I will post photos of the bike when finished.
Cheers,
Croxalla
