I put pivit pegs on my XTR...
They are great if yer boots don't have alot of ankle movement.. Yer wouldn't think they would make alot of diffrents..but going from the XT to the XR you really notice how good they are when standing... Need a set for the XR now... Pitty they arn't cheaper.. |

How much did you guys get charged for postage???
They work out about 20 inc postage |

Chris - I have a pair in the workshop, they came off the TTR (which also fit the Tenere). They are used but in decent enough condition.
Stick 5 in the Air Ambulance pot in May and I'll bring them down for you. |
Well reading through that I am going to get these..
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Foot-Pegs-...item1e70942f83 From all accounts they should fit. Not pivot pegs , but at that price who can complain. Will let you know how I get along. |
No, do not get those, they do not fit on a Z.
:smilies0947: Was very excited when they arrived but alas they do not fit into the foot peg bracket that is bolted to the frame. I should have gone with the recommended option on the other thread. |
I ordered these ones and they do not fit...
http://www.drcproducts.com/body/d48-...image/pv01.jpg Well, as they come they do not fit but I'll try to make them fit by cutting this part in red: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...ot%20pegs.jpeg Have anyone done this? |
Anyone looking for a link to the ebay pegs, I fitted
these ones today. Bang on, no dremel or drill required (just a little bending of the stock spring required).
I already had a set of these fitted that I bought last year but last week decided to try my hand at riding on black ice with limited success :eusa_doh: Uri geller must have been hiding in the bushes as the peg looked like a banana - but at least it was still rideable... |
Hello, I just bought these i
http://bit.ly/1btUM31 They needed about 70mm taking off to fit in in the xt660r brackets But they feel lovely. Only problem is the springs don't fit. I've 'butchered' the original spring on and they work... Ish Any idea which spring I should buy to fit to correct or should I go down the bike breakers n see which fits trail n error ? Cheers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
I had the same problem. I bought the original yamaha springs for the wr from 2006 on. They cost me 4 (left and right) in yamaha dealership.

Found that aprillia 125 rs 2010 springs fit....
Well I hope they do :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Totally ttrs
I got a cracking pair of stainless steel pegs from
www.totallyttrs.com I had them on my ttr250 so decided to see if they would fit the tenere, BINGO exactly the same pegs on both bikes :-)
Admittedly they are a bit more pricey, but I had several 'tactical dismounts' with them on the ttr and a nice slide down the road on the tenere with them on. No damage to the pegs though. |
The cheap Chinese ones
Can someone with the cheapo steel Chinese foot pegs please confirm for me if this current ebay listing is for the right ones for an XT660Z?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/130737778562 Many thanks |
I made some pivot pegs myself. First for the XTZ750 I had.
Then they fitted on my XT1200 and took a hit on a tunnel wall in italy. Still in one piece and now the are on the XT660Z fitting perfect as well. Had the same spring (from XTZ750) on all 3 bikes. Here they are mounted on the XT1200 showing XT1200 original beside it. http://iloapp.kattarp.eu/data/_galle...00_resized.jpg |
