Finally a pipe that is cheaper in Oz then over seas. Full system cost AUD$700.00 thats 280 Pounds. This is a well built pipe & looks realy good, with removable baffle. Freez you would love the bends.

This pipe works quite well I tried the pipe out today. The bike was fitted with a Power Commander & DNA stage 1 filter, it definitely had much more low down torque then my bike which has two Carbon Cans system. My bike did have allot more mid to top end power. I think to be fair we need to fit the 2into1 with a Stage 2 filter so to compare apples with apples.

I will come back to you with some tests, as we will run it on the Dyno in a few weeks time.

Hi, I have installed Acropovic exhausts on my bike as well as installing a power commander and performance air filter, the question is my bike back fires as I tap off the throttle is there anyhthing I can do to stop this

Hi ankcorn, i have the same pipes as you , baffles out and very loud, the same happens to mine and i think its normal.
Best to ask kev or captain moto, they seem to no what they are talking about.
I like all the popping and banging

uno 12-04-07 00:37

I have Leo Vince exhausts and they back fire quite a lot, which i like quite a lot :) the baffles definately turn heads.

Kev, MATE.. where do i get a set??? I'm Loving what i see and NEED to buy now!!! Over messing with the stocka's, Does it sound the part also?? I cruise down to BrisVegas all the time and know the roads there well if ya keen to hook up for a skid sometime..

Kev 27-06-07 11:54

Transzac Phone number 07 32068354.

They can make any design you want, they make to order & fit to your bike so they will need the bike for a few days. If you find something you like take a photo with you.
They are the cheapest exhaust fitters in Brisbane. Their work is of real good quality & the pipes work as well. Most of my mates have had a Cans made or a full system & not one complaint from them.

I am keen for a ride anytime.

GSXRW75 28-06-07 08:18

Cheers mate.. just bought the XTX recently and need to hear a tune from her. Not a bad bike for a gentle squeeze in the bush (bar risers fitted) and seems to handle the 'Street & Bruce Highway' stuff nicely. Usual hack is a '97 gixxer 600 but roads up here more dirt/sand so... with a few mods i think the XTX will be a sick daily thrasher.

Peter J Pullenger 01-10-07 15:55

can I get them and how much

If you are talking about the cross over pipe under the bike as to the H design of our XT's. I will try to explain the theory to you. A crossover pipe will overcome the power loss of "over loading" the H pipe design as on our XT's. Proper design and placement of the cross over will allow a balance of pressures across the exhaust system and therein increase torque, especially at lower RPM.

Also, it has been shown that having across over pipe mellows out the raspy “ricer” sound that occurs above 3000rpm. So leave it out & the bike will sound quite different. The bottom line is, you probably should have a cross over pipe on your bike exhaust, even though it is not needed. There is minor performance gain if you have one.

Yes, you see a lot of bikes with no cross over. These are usually "Tuned Pipes" meaning their length and size are tuned to work with the S/T Pulse in such a way that reversion can not return to the engine before the exhaust cycle has ended & a cross over pipe is not needed.

2 into 1 pipes offer more low down torque & are great weight saving. 2 into 2 pipes offer better displacement of exhaust gas at higher RPM, this is a general rule. Most pipes can be tuned to give more torque & HP. In the end it's how the pipe is made to how much torque & HP it produces.

Hope that helps.

cdo1uk 04-11-07 11:46

Kev, thanks mate.... i do prefure the 2 into 1 look, but that cross over with those cans looks good... where do i sign?
