Being visible
A bit boring I know, but as I headed back from Heathrow on the M25 and the A3 in the Landy I was shocked at just how invisible some bikers are. It was dark and murky and really busy as ever and some of the bikes blasting by were only just visible by their tail lights... dark clothing. ..nothing reflective. You really couldn't see them properly at all. Even if you just keep a high visibility in your rucksack and put it on for those murky motorway journeys...one guy had a high vis cover ON his rucksack, he really showed up . Anyway, I'll shut up....but please ride safe! Steve

Very well written, and I agree with being seen and have really good light on our bikes.

Well said...
Steve makes a very important point, cos a Land Rover back ending a bike is never a good result. You may just need to wipe yer light covers cos they get really mucky even on road, and lights keep you safe(r) cos then cars can see you. Ride safe.
