XT660Z - DNA Stage 1.

Fit today. First Results:

Before:
- the bike was presenting significantly different operation when operating at the following 2 dicrete areas a).between 3-5000rpm and b).5-6.000rpm.

-When passing the 5.000rpm limit the engine was operating willingly giving a lot of power, while under 5.000rpm and especialy 3-5.000 was less willing to follow my throtle movement. And I am refering to NORMAL, driving. Of course this does not mean that I was not pleased by the previous operation or available power but, comparing to the present state I have to say:

Now:
- The rider's experienced difference between the 2 discrete areas of operation (a.3.000-5.000rpm and b.5.000-6000rpm) is much less obvious.

- The bike seems to cover more swiftly the first 2.500-4.500 range, while the 2 areas are not so discrete any more. This means that I feel I have more linear power reserves through the whole 3-6.000 rpm range, while at the same time the 5.000rpm limit has been moved 300 rpm lower resulting an engine eager to perform earlier (~4.700rpm than 5.000) and giving the impression of shorter gearing.

- I think I have a little more vibrations in the 5.100-5-600 but nothing serious.

- Better noise, less tin like at low speeds 40-60km @ traffic conditions.

I am ...
