For any real gains at this point you have to look at getting somthing that lets you alter the fueling.

The site guru Kev does a cheep mod that you can start with, his fuel mod is currently on sale here;
http://www.xt660.com/showthread.php?t=11450&page=2

The more expensive route that allows you to get the most out of your machine is to get something like a power commander that allows you to completely remap your fueling depending on your setup. Kev has collected a lot of maps that members have put together for different setups.

You can find a list of a lot of mods and information here;
http://www.xt660.com/showthread.php?t=630

and if you become a supported of the site you can get access to the Ask Kev section that includes access to the collection of fuel maps other people have produced for the power commander.

Good luck with your mods.

Hi,

I have almost the same set up as you i.e; remus cans, stage 2 filter, and changed co settings to +7.

I have changed the TPS to 17 and it does help reduce surging even more - the difference is slight, but recognisable!

I have ordered a kev fuelling mod, so i am waiting to see (and hoping) that it will bring all the mods together and lead to a smoooooth ride, with a bit more power (although looking for smooth and not speed!)

I will give you feedback on the kev mod once i get it fitted, but recon that it might be the final piece in the jigsaw to bring a bike that rode like sh*t, to being a decent/ fun machine.

My one issue is still the throttle which reacts slower than i would like it when coming down the gears and giving the engine a rev! does anyone know if the kev mod will help with this? or is there another solution?
