New Tyres Today

Am gettin new rubber for the ten today after a very happy 7800 miles on the original factory tyres. Have opted for the Metzler Enduro 3 as they seem to be a nice compromise for road and green lane.

Looking forward to seeing how long they last, the original Michelins have been excellent.

Good tyres .. Give very good in line traction great
for hill climbing etc but can be a bit slidey at higher
lean angles on lose surfaces... never used a front
one..

Got the Enduro 3's fitted on friday and have spent the weekend gettin them scrubbed with a couple of hundred miles on dry country roads. Initial impression is that the tyres feel good and sure footed, not dissimilar to the Siracs really. I got causght out by a bend with a decreasing radius and had to lean the bike over a bit more than I felt confortable with... tyres didn't budge and stayed firmly planted on the road

Raining on the ride into work this morning... 15 miles on country roads and 5 miles on the M1... tyres felt good again
