Sorry if this is the most stupid question ever asked on these forums, but is coolant hose just regular coolant hose or is there anything specific about it?

The reason I ask is that, being the clutz that I am, I managed to split one of my coolant hoses, this one to be specific:


So do I just have to nip down to Halfords to pick up some generic coolant hose (if so does anyone know what size) or do I need to order something specific online?
