Gas_Up_Lets_Go is on a distinguished road
where Kiethblade masterd the art of off road armchair travel.

with steveD showing us all how to do it,,

Spitting Image wrote a song a few years back - "Ive never met a nice South African", Wel I've met a very nice one, here he is;

For the entire weekend, all I saw were lines of bikes, it really was an incredible sight!

Bear showing that even an X, on road rubber can still master the trails..

another R,

and a Z

Mr Petebog, with piglett guiding the sweeper (Jmo)

and, unlike the Landie Louts - we leave it all just as we found it....

Still on the Old Coach Road (well it is 5 miles long..) descending down into the old quarry.

steveD waiting his turn....

Checkamus, showing the world how it's done, doesn't the Z look right at home here ??

Bear at the bottom (it's a long shot this, so a bit out of focus), and the rear end of Chris

more downhill action,

and a bit more from petebog

Now then, Bear said he wouldn't do this - and yet here he is, dam these bikes are good!

...... and,,,,,

they're off.....

this trail riding lark, it's a bit easy - don't you think? JMo taking it easy on the downhill run..

After the Old Coach Road we headed into Keswick for some juice and one or two riders didn't 'push their luck' so headed off back to the camp for bacon butties. The rest of us had another encounter in the foothills of Mt Skiddaw.

After this the weather turned, the local ironmungery took on the might of steveD & Teneredoug's travelling spares & maintenance departments and chekamus's bike lost it's vaginty to a can of tyreweld..........

I'll let others tell that story.....
