used some hex bolts i had in the shed
will get some stainless steel socket bolts asap

Hi BigB - I might be wrong, but I'm not sure stainless bolts are ideal for 'safety items' such as the bar risers (even in chunky M10 size) - you're probably better with some zinc plated hi-tensile 8.8 heat treated whojimma whatevers, you know what I mean... as they are stronger (against sheer) than stainless?
