Nice work NickW909. I was also thinking about where best to put the tools. When I had luggage strapped on the passenger seat, it would be a pain to reach the toolkit under the seat. Others have a nice toolpack from TT or other brands strapped on the rear-rack. My current idea is to use the rear-rack from TT or SW-Motech, but extend the height by inserting the long spacers, so it would create space underneath the rack where I would put the toolbag, whereas I could still strap another bag on top of the rack. I would get a bag that is accessible on the sides through zippers/foldups on the sides, so I wouldn't need to unstrap it each time I need to get to the tools. Still, it is just a concept at the moment.
