Got a bit of a problem with the Mrs' new lid. We got her a Shoei XR1000 recently, however, on our first ride over 30minutes she complained about two painful spots either side of her noggin towards the top back. I'm guessing it doesn't fit 'perfectly'?

Thing is, she wore it in the store for about 5-10 minutes to see how it would feel, and according to her it was great. It seemed to fit like a glove.

We went back to the store and spoke to the sales rep, he said she probably needs a 'half' size, and that they don't order half sizes into Turkey?!?! Also, that they can't refund or exchange a used lid. I'm pretty pissed off at this, but I'm hoping there's a solution? Does anyone have any tips on how to possibly make it a fraction larger without messing with the safety? I'm thinking along the lines of really stuffing it with clothes, kind of like those things they slip into shoes to stretch them out a little. I tried sticking my head in but it was too big, doh!

Shot in the dark I know, but I really don't want to have to fork out more wedge on a helmet.
