I was in Kent Motorcycles yesterday gettign a SH-300 for my wife now she has passed her test and the guy there was trying to recommend some BT-45's for my Tenere as he said I'd get much better milage on it than my current Sirac's based on their experience of police bikes with dual-sports tyres.

I've yet to do any green laning (though I'd like to try when its less wet) and I do 100 miles a day on the motorway for my commute. My Siracs look like they should last until my next service (12k miles) so I'm sure what do do when the time comes (probaly in may).

Presumably the BT-045's would give me more grip on the road, and a smoother ride at the expense of loosing any off-road potential.
