Thanks Tricky - I've now exhausted every other option (and myself) the past couple of days - the Speed Triple (and presumably Z1000) perch is way too clumsy and ugly to go anywhere near my bike, thank you very much!

So I think the FZ1n clutch perch is the way to go, if it takes the same lever as the FZ1s of course... the only 'problem' is that you might have to buy the whole assembly just to get the perch...

Please let me know once you've been able to compare levers...

ps. In the meantime, I've taken the grinder to my existing levers, and they are now nice and stubby 3-finger jobbies, for �0.00!!!

Slapped the handguards back on and am just enjoying riding - that's what it's all about isn't it?!
