Consumables / Spare Parts

After a request for the part numbers for brakes pads on another thread, I thought it might be a good idea to list alternatives to OEM parts for consumables like brake pads, filters, chains, sprockets etc. It might be a good idea to copy and paste and add any info you have to the list?

So here is what I've found already:

Brake Pads

EBC part number/s: FA181 for the front, FA208 for the rear.

Oil Filter

K&N part number: 145

Sprockets

15T front 45T rear are the OE sizes, 520 pitch.

JT part number/s: front - JTF 308.15 rear - JTR 855.45 for OE pattern replacements (note the number after the point refers to the number of teeth).

Drive chain

Yep,the handbook doesn't actually say how long it is... fortunately I counted.

110 links (OE length) 520 pitch - ideally use an O ring or X ring, and a rivet link rather than clip.

My personal preference is a D.I.D 520VM, although have just fitted a Renthal R3 (significantly cheaper than D.I.D in the US).

Spark plug

NGK CR7E

Headlight bulbs

H7 55w single filament (dip and main beam)

Hope that helps some of you who have reached the point where bits are wearing out...
