Thanks Hans - I know what you mean, I'd seen pictures of the new Tenere and thought it was really well thought out, but once I sat on one I was sold! I have to confess I've not actually ridden one yet, but then I've never test-ridden a bike before I bought it - I guess I always go for the rare or obscure models that don-t have demos?!
However, I'm used to riding high bikes (I have a rallye spec XR650R too), but I must say, the Ten does feel very tall when you sit on it solo - I guess the spring preload is quite high to allow for luggage and a pillion?
Hopefully it will bed in and soften up with a few miles?
I'm planning on getting some (WR450 version) Pivot Pegz for the Ten' - but will wait until I get to the US to save a few ���s...
