But you would have thought that Yamaha would have added what was needed to remove the front wheel in the standered tool kit

The tool kit that came with my XR400R only as 3 item's in it.
A spark plug remover,on one end and a timimg cover remover on the other.and screw driver
you also get a multi tool which fit's front and rear wheel's and also fit's many other parts on the bike.
