As we approach the end, I'm just taking the opportunity to thanks to everyone:
* To those who supported the Lakes Weekends, we had a blast, we had drunken nights, we had falling down , crashes, Navigation events (that preceeded Austins Mondo stuff), there's so many great memories...
* To those guys who've gone that little bit extra, those that have helped people, developed stuff, workarounds, little improvements. This is where the forum really excelled.
* It's been an amazing journey for me personally, picking up a brand new XT660Z in May '08 then putting 9000 miles on it before september was done. That bike has had so many tweaks and modifications I lose track of them when insurance time comes around. I don't think I'd have done any of it if it wasn't for this forum and the people on it.
* The friends I've picked up along the way, jeash there are some real characters, the sight of SteveD's ass as he god chnaged in his tent (directly opposite mine) is burned into my retinas for ever..
The title of this post, we used this phrase on a set of special edition T-Shirts for one of the Lakes meets, it sums up what the people of this forum have done.
Anyway, as Christmas descends upon us, then New Year and then.... it's gone.
There is a Facebook group set up, and there are wisperings on a new site to house the XT Homeless. I'm sure Brad will keep the Facebook group up to date with his venture, if you want to stay with some of us, head over, answer the sign on questions and you'll be welcome
