If you seriously want to raise or improve the suspension on a 'ZA' model you are probably best sourcing a used set of standard length forks and linkage from a non-ABS bike and buy yourself some aftermarket fork springs and an aftermarket full-length shock. Or, if you have deep pockets, maybe a USB front end and fancy shock to match.
I am thinking on exchanging the XT660ZA (ABS) suspensions (front and rear) with the original XT660Z (non-ABS) models parts, in order to gain more part options, for the upgrade.
Does anyone know what parts would I be needing?
For sure, I would need to find a full front suspension system.
Also, I will be needing a full rear shock system.
Do I need other modifications? Has anyone tried this??

Thank you!
