Hi and welcome to the forum! , what a pain about the bike. This gearbox issue seems to be the only real weaknesses (in certain years) of an otherwise tough and reliable bike. Is it simply not viable or cost effective to rebuild....you sound like you know your stuff mechanically. ..? . Steve
