The bells & whisles nitron is most lightly better than the basic Ohlins..
I bought the basic Ohlins 46DR1 from OTR then had a remote with hi/low speed
compression damping fitted with a moded valve stack...
The Ohlins 46DR1 from OTR is quite a roady shock.. I moved it more towards dirt set up..

If you are more of a road rider & easy dirt the Basic Ohlins from OTR may work best for you..
still way better than what yamaha put in them..

My XTR is not so great on the road/corners... might have taken it
a bit to far towards dirt.... on the dirt..well thats a diffrent story i bet theres not two meany XT660 that would run with it down a rough trail...
but just about any XT will leave me behind on a winedy road...
So know what type of bike you are after......
