Currently researching a replacement front tyre.

My TKC80 is on its last legs, with some severely scalloped knobs, Not sure how far many miles its done, but has outlasted a Mitas E10 Dakar rear and the previous tyre, a Golden Tyre Gt200.
After my experience with the Michelin T63 scalloping so much worse than the TKC80 I won't go back to them.

Currently running a Dunlop D606 rear, which I am loving on a Price vs off road pick up, and its done 3,800kms with quite a bit more to go. I can see it starting to square off, from all the motorway miles, but its grip on gravel roads make it worthwhile. I should go to about 5,000km
I have noticed the reduction in tarmac grip on the rear, when emergency braking so am trying to ride more carefully.

Anyone care to share their experience with the D606 front?

For me I want a decent road legal tyre that will perform on the west coast Northern Cape dirt.

Ive had a Hidenau Catspaw in the past (I think now called the K60), similar tread to a Mefo 99 and Mitas E07 and I had a strong overriding fear of putting that back on the front.
