Your right. Changing the TPS won't get rid of the surging but you will find your throttle much more sensitive (that's good). I had mine changed a couple of weeks ago and now I can get the power down when exiting roundabouts much earlier which makes the bike more fun to ride. I try and stay out of the surging rev range and ride 3rd gear for 30mph and a tiny, tiny bit of throttle. If I ride at 30mph in 2nd gear my bike will surge. I've just got used to it in a way as it's only got 1 piston so it's never gonna be smooth but it don't half shift when ya twist which is nice.
