This happened to me, I found it was a loose connection on the battery. Check the terminals are done up properly, the starter motor draws a lot of current on kick-over and it's probably this not being earthed properly that is causing this issue.

If you do get lights eventually, then it's not a fuse.
If you have no electrics, then you have surely blown a fuse at some point.
