Angry Bike Security

Hi Everyone.

The reason for this thread is after being in a rush yesterday morning and not securing my security devices when I left for work, I came back to all my chains/locks and cover with solar panel having being nicked. The bike is kept outside. Luckily I have somewhere else short term to keep my bike undercover until new chains/locks/cover can be obtained.

Now my question is, where do you secure chains to your bike. I use the 'Y' section of frame below the airbox and round the frame leading to the tail (where the rear brake cylinder is. It's a tight fit with the old Oxford XL 12mn chain but I'd like to use an Almax 16mm chain as no doubt the locks went missing so the bike can be nicked later on. I can only lock the bike on the right hand side (sitting on bike) as its parked on a slope. I can't really see anywhere else to secure it through the frame that has a large enough aperture to loop a hefty chain through.

Does anyone else have any suggestions as its a good opportunity to ramp up security?

Thanks
