Yes, the barter system works well...!, and Pepsi, I know I'm very lucky to have use of a garage. And Desert Racer....the XR650R just gets an occasional blast down the lane....I'm going to Mot it next week . I absolutely should sell it....I could really do with the dosh, but using man-maths I somehow justify keeping it!. I paid a very fair price for it and had 5yrs brilliant riding from it, and even at the cheapest price going she's worth more than I paid for her!. Trouble is when a bike means that much to you it's not just about monetary value ....there's a wealth of memories , of great trips and rides attached to that bike. However, as the Tenere becomes more and more 'my' bike, through riding it and modding it she is proving a worthy successor to the XR and I'm loving the Ten . Plus all the advice friendship and general good vibes to be found on this great forum!! Steve
