First time I've ridden it properly today, and I love it! The amount of accidental 1st gear throttle only wheelies I've done is incredible, and I've only pinned it a few times!
Little update, I've found a few issues with the bike I was unaware of, it is going to need front and rear pads pretty soon, it occasionally dies on me whilst disengaging the clutch, which I hope is something to do with the low idle rpm. Also, from what I read yesterday, the fuel pump whines a little. I knew already it needs a new set of rubbers (Cush drives)? In the rear wheel, and whilst I'm doing this I will do the rear wheel bearings and brake pads, maybe a tyre too as its getting close to the legal limit. I will do the same at the front eventually but not until spring.

It now has hand gaurds, new mirrors and a new bar pad, and I can confirm it is an 'X' as it has a four pot up front, the old crash bar said XTX and so do the tank area fairings. Am I right in thinking the X is the slightly updated model compared to the R?
