         I have been using Co-Pilot for some years now I can say that is is the next best thing to perfect. I have travelled remote places in Australia and Europe and is really good. However as mentioned I had had few faults, like telling you to take the wrong turn. Nevertheless in 98% of the cases is very good. IMHO it is better than Garmin and very user friendly. Great POI database. 
        
 The only "real" problem I had was in Skopie, Macedonia as the guys there seem to change the street names too often 
        

 but this would be a problem for every navigating tool, apart of topo probably....
        
 Ah, and take the paid version. The free one has a trial period (with as far as I remember all features included) so before a trip you can download it and see if you like it.
