I mounted the same light (although Aurora not Rigid industries) on the lower triple clamp so I can pan it around if looking around at a campsite etc but otherwise in the same place. The light is fantastic and you will love it once you wire it up.

It was my intention to do something similar but found that the light would hit the tank on full lock. Be very interested to see how you overcame this issue.

Aren't you "stealing" a part of the airflow to the airfilter with the LED's?
I was thinking still a longer time about 2 "LED-flowers" in front but wasn't realising in anger if the machine still gets enough direct air.
cheers and regards,

Minimal disruption to airflow .....

However, am interested to see if it has any effect on the turbulence created by the air channeled up behind the instruments..

Had a very late finish on a recent ride (I hate the short winter days).....Lots of eyes were staring back out at me from the side of the road, this prompted met to fit the light bar..!! Usually try to be off the road and having a cold beer well before "Roo-O-Clock" time.

Thanks Pepsi...Am aware of the accessory plug, but already have it reserved for my back up GPS used on long multi day rides.
