Its funny, I dont think there is alot of communication over here with the Aust Yamaha dealers. My Ten was supplied with a paper element that they ran around the shop looking for on the day of delivery. The dealer said there was some TSB they had to remove the foam one but he did me a favour and supplied the foamy as well.
Definitely no DNA, my guess the SA dealer is onto it and fitting them standard, similar to the video Capt just posted about Aussie dealers kitting the bikes out with everything before sale(at a price though!!)
