Well, the total amount spent is about the same as I spent on buying the bike which effectively has doubled the cost of the bike. Even though I may be adding some value to the bike by doing this it won't be anywhere near what I've spent. I will certainly never get my money back. However, my intention is to keep the bike for a while so I'm making the investment to make sure I enjoy the bike when I ride it. I was very close to buying a brand new XT1200Z before I found this bike. Even when all the stuff for my XT660Z is taken into account it's still about half the price of a brand new and fully tricked out XT1200Z. If I think of it that way my bike is a bargain...
