Mine feels a bit warm around the seat & under the legs here in the Sunshine State of Queensland.
I found the Akrapovic pipes a bit cooler than the original exhaust. I'm going to see the exhaust workshop soon about removing the cat's from them as other people have said it helps a lot with the original exhaust heat wise.
Failing that it may be worth you considering an after market pipe that doesn't have cat's in.
