Went to fire up the Z this morning after it being outside and undercover since October and found that nothing happened when it hit the start button.
I'd kept the battery in the house on trickle-charge, so knew that was good.
I found that the bike had been left in gear, so selected neutral and noticed that the N light was not working. Tried starting the bike and nothing, so this time swiped up the side-stand and she started straight away. I noticed the ECU light was on for about 1 second but this went out. The moment I put down the side-stand again the engine cut out.
Here's the question.... Is it a faulty neutral light switch or a side-stand switch or both that is causing the issue? Once the bikes running, even if I hold the clutch in and kick down the stand, the bike cuts out?
Cheers
