Why do you need a connector block there in the first place.
It's only for the manufacturere convenience that they have so many connectors on the bike. Think of all the problems that we get because of connectors. I have cut the connector block off my Reg / Rectifier and solid soldered the wires (using a reg with a bout 300mm tail potted into itself), just so that I don't have a problem there.
If the bike was mine and you have a problem with connectors underneath the tank which are difficult to get at then consider this as an option.
Can you consider why you would need to have a joint at that point?
Just my ten pence worth.
Oh and for information, my Ten was the very first to rear it's ugly head and have the reg / rectifier coinnector problem. Not any more.
