I think I would go with one that is OFF when the trigger is switched. Better to have one thing working correct when disaster strikes.

One option that doesnt require any wiring or soldering is removing the fuse. Wonder if removing it in and out would harm the ABS system?

To answer my self :-) I suppose not since Its basically the same procedure but instead I use my hand.
