Dyno tuning is quite hard on a bike's engine, transmission and tyres. It is always worth making sure your bike is in tip-top condition before visiting a dyno centre. Also, you don't really want to build a custom map for your bike if you've got things negatively influencing performance such as dirty air filters, worn/old spark plugs, valve clearances out of spec etc.
Get it serviced, make sure your chain/sprockets are in good nick and its all properly adjusted and your tyres have the right pressure (some people even add a few psi).
